first_img Twitter WhatsApp Muncie man wins lawsuit after parents destroy pornography collection Pinterest Facebook Facebook Google+ WhatsApp (“Court Gavel” by Best Law, Public Domain) A Muncie man has won a federal lawsuit against his parents, who destroyed his extensive collection of pornography.David Werking, 42, filed the suit last year against his parents — Paul and Beth Werking.Werking said he lived with his parents for a time in 2016 and 2017, and during that time, they destroyed several boxes of materials he had left in their home, including DVDs, VHS tapes and sex toys.“Some of the property was pornographic in nature,” the lawsuit said. “None of the property was illegal in nature.”A U.S. District Court Judge ruled Werking’s parents must pay for destroying his collection.Werking estimated the value of his pornography collection at more than $25,000.
