You might not like what you see, but blame the NFL schedule makers who put six teams on bye (Broncos, Texans, Jaguars, Patriots, Eagles, Redskins), not us. You can also blame poor quarterbacks, tough matchups, and injuries, but even great chefs can only do so much with mediocre ingredients. That’s the wide receiver pool for Week 10 is — a bunch of mediocre ingredients.Even the top tier has question marks. Keenan Allen has struggled for the better part of a month, but everyone roasts the Raiders…right? Allen Robinson is coming off his worst game of the season — in a favorable matchup, no less — but we can count on him against the Lions…right? And Tyler Lockett is good enough to put up numbers against anyone, even the 49ers…right? WEEK 10 NON-PPR RANKINGSQuarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | KickerObviously, you’re going to have to make some tough start-or-sit decisions this week, and while none of the guys just mentioned should be involved in those, they’re emblematic of the position as a whole. If there’s ever been a week to trust high-target, middle-tier guys like Jamison Crowder (vs. Giants), Cole Beasely (@ Browns), Jarvis Landry (vs. Bills), and Tyler Boyd (vs. Ravens), it’s this one. They’ve all put up some duds this year, but at least you know they will get their chances. In PPR leagues, that will be extra important this week.WEEK 10 PPR RANKINGS: Running back | Tight endInjuries could really help a few borderline guys see more looks, specifically Robert Woods (@ Steelers) if Brandin Cooks (concussion) is out and Auden Tate/Alex Erickson (vs. Ravens) if A.J. Green (ankle) remains out. DeVante Parker (@ Colts) would also likely be more reliable if Preston Williams (knee) is out, but it’s tough to pinpoint another Dolphins receiver who would step up in Williams’ absence.MORE WEEK 10:Waiver pickups | FAAB planner | Snap counts | Trade values | Fantasy playoff SOSUltimately, this will likely be a tough week for most owners. Whether that comes early in the form of start/sit decisions or late because of a lack of production, chances are few will be immune. Hopefully, you won’t have to deal with the latter. A little stress on Sunday morning is fine as long as you have points on the board come Sunday night.Reminder: Check back for updates during the week.last_img
